Our Head Instructors Background
The co-owners and Head Instructors of this branch are Sensei (instructor) Tom Varasconi and Sensei Bob Varasconi. Together they have a combined experience of over 60 years of studying the Martial Arts Style Ketsu-Ka (TM) . The Varasconi Senseis have been teaching in the Bristol area for over 25 years, have been active competitors in the Martial Arts throughout New England, and also have been ranked in the top ten in New England.
The Varasconi Senseis' experience has not been limited to only competing and teaching Martial Arts. They have been hired as body guards for many stars at the Special Olympics such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean ClaudeVanDame, Kathy Lee Gifford, Ethel Kennedy, and others. They have been hired to protect musical performers such as Steven Tyler, Tina Turner, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Bad Company, Tony Bennett, Jon Bon Jovi, and many others.
